Description
The original composition of this Farruca for 2 guitars was released in 1958 on the record: “The fantastic guitars of Sabicas and Escudero”. Although it is a marvelous composition by Sabicas- a great duet that is at the same time beautiful and technically not too demanding – somehow it is less known among flamenco guitarists. Paco Peña performed this piece wonderfully in various occasions usually together with classical guitarists. It was recorded with Eduardo Falú (Encuentro 1989). Also live versions can be found on YouTube with John Williams and Eliot Fisk.
This piece is suitable for beginner to intermediate level flamenco players.
